Srijan Creation

Srijan Creation is tucked away at 13a Kesto Das Paul Lane in Kolkata 700006. If you know this part of the city, you know how narrow and winding these lanes can get. It is a very old neighborhood and we have been a part of it for a good many years now. Our workspace is not very big so we have to be very careful about how we stack our materials and finished pieces. Sometimes it feels like we are almost tripping over each other, especially on those days when we have a lot of orders to finish. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the tools and calendars we need to get through the week. The light isn't great in the very back of the shop, so we have some old lamps set up. People in the lane know us as Srijan Creation and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be some huge international company. We just want to do our daily work and go home to our families. The monsoon rains sometimes make the lane a bit muddy and difficult to walk through, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floors. It’s a very simple setup. We have a couple of old wooden chairs for when people come by to talk about work. We don't use much fancy technology here, just an old computer and our mobile phones. It's mostly just hard work and being here every day at 13a Kesto Das Paul Lane.
