Sri Dwarkadhish Contractors & Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is located right here in Krishnapur. It is a busy part of West Bengal, and we have been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. To be honest, our office is usually a bit of a mess with all the rolls of paper and technical drawings lying around. Most of us are rarely at our desks anyway because the real work happens out in the field where things are actually being built. Engineering sounds like a clean job, but mostly it is about getting your hands dirty and dealing with whatever the weather throws at you. Some days it is the heat that gets to you, and other days the monsoon rain makes everything a bit slower. We have a crew that has been with us for years, so we all know how each other works without having to say much. We are not into big meetings or long presentations. If someone needs a project handled, they just come by the office and we talk it out over some tea. It is just about being practical and making sure the structures we build are going to last. We focus on the day-to-day stuff like checking the concrete or making sure the steel is placed right. It is not always exciting, but it is what we do, and we just focus on the task at hand.
