Our office is located in Deshbandhu Nagar, right in the Baguiati area of Kolkata. Being at Ab -9/23 makes us easy to find if you know the neighborhood well. It is a busy place, always lots of people moving around outside. We’ve been operating Sony Errison Pvt Ltd from this spot for some time. It's not a flashy showroom or anything like that. It's a workspace where we deal with electronics and different parts. Most of the time it’s just us surrounded by tools and spare components. Kolkata can be very humid, so we keep the fans going all day while we work. We don't really do big advertising. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or friends. It’s a practical way to run a business. We focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the wires and boxes around, but we know where everything is. The tea seller on the corner knows us by name since we go there every afternoon for a break. It’s a local operation. We just try to do right by the people who walk through our door. The stairs to the office are a bit narrow, but once you’re inside, it’s just a normal workplace. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but we’ve stayed put. It’s where we belong and how we make our way. We are just ordinary people working hard to keep things going and earn a living.
