Solvay Pharmaceuticals

Our place, Solvay Pharmaceuticals, is on Amnickotola Main Road. Specifically, we are at number 175/1 A. We are part of the Speciality Division, and being in the Speciality Division means we have a specific focus on what we do here. Being on a main road means there is always noise from the cars and buses passing by. It’s a very urban setting. We spend our hours managing the different medical products we handle. The building itself is quite plain, sitting right there on the busy stretch of Amnickotola. We don’t really have a lot of walk-in traffic like a retail shop might, but we stay busy with our own operations. The address can be a bit confusing for delivery drivers sometimes because of the sub-numbers, but they eventually find us. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and desks. We aren't big on decorations or anything that isn't necessary for the work. The staff here has been together for a while, so we have a good rhythm going. We start early to beat some of the heat and the heaviest traffic. By the afternoon, the sun hits the front of the building pretty hard. It’s a functional space above all else. We handle a lot of logistics and distribution stuff from this location. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s important to us. We’ve grown used to the hum of the main road. It’s just the background to our daily routine here at the Speciality Division.
