We are based over on Pathuria Ghat Street, specifically in flat 409A on the 4th floor of house number 66. It’s an old part of Kolkata, and the building reflects that. It isn't a high-rise with a gym or anything like that. It’s just a functional space where we handle accounting tasks. There’s a lot of dust from the street, and the fans are always running to keep us cool while we work. We aren't a large group of people. It’s just a few of us sitting at desks, going through ledgers and checking tax codes. People come to us when they have paperwork they can't figure out. We don't have a receptionist; you just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s a simple way of doing things. We don't have fancy brochures or a marketing plan. We just focus on the work on our desks. The area around here is pretty busy, so there is always some noise coming from outside. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so we know the local rhythm well. We finish our work, close up the flat, and head home. It’s a practical setup for a practical job. We don't try to be something we’re not. Just a local accounting firm helping out with the usual financial stuff that people need to get done.
