Our place is at P-12 on New C.I.T. Road, which is right in the thick of things near Teritti Market in Kolkata. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets, especially in the mornings when the breakfast market is in full swing. The building for Sing Cheung Co. Pvt. Ltd. is one of those older ones that has seen a lot of history, with thick walls and high ceilings that keep it somewhat cool even when it’s humid outside. We’ve got our office set up here, and it’s usually filled with the sound of old fans clicking and people talking over the noise of the street. It’s not a very modern setup, but it works for what we need to do. We spend our days dealing with paperwork and coordinating where things need to go. Being so close to the market means there is always a lot of shouting and horns honking right outside our windows. Sometimes the smell of street food drifts in, which is nice around lunchtime. We don't have a fancy reception or anything, just some old wooden desks and cabinets full of files. People stop by and we just talk across the counter. It feels like a very traditional Kolkata business spot. We’ve been around this part of town for quite some time, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but our routine stays pretty much the same every day.
