Punit Traders

We are Punit Traders, located at 12 Chintamani Dey Road over in Howrah. This area is always crowded and the streets are narrow. We’ve been operating from this building for quite a long time. It’s a typical trading house. We have boxes stacked up high, and there’s barely enough room to walk between them. We deal in various goods, mostly wholesale stuff that goes out to the smaller shops. The humidity in Howrah can be really tough on the packaging, so we have to be careful. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to the porters who carry the loads on their backs. It’s a lot of shouting to be heard over the traffic outside. We don't have any fancy decorations in the office. It’s just old wooden desks and a lot of ledgers. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to work by candlelight for a while. That’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve known our neighbors for decades. We aren't interested in being a big corporate entity. We just do our business, pay our bills, and go home. We have a regular set of customers who have been coming to us for years. They know we don't do anything fancy, we just provide the goods they need. It’s a busy, cramped, and honest way to live.
