You can find Eastern Supply Agency at 13/1 Durgapure Lane, right on the ground floor. Being on the ground floor is handy because we are always moving heavy crates and supplies in and out throughout the day. Durgapure Lane can get a bit narrow, so it’s always a bit of a puzzle when the delivery trucks show up. We’ve been at this for a while, and the place has a certain smell of paper and old wood that you get used to after a week. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just supply what’s needed to the shops and businesses around this part of town. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with orders to worry about that. It’s a functional space where work comes first. There are three of us here most days, and we’ve worked together so long we don’t even have to talk much to know what needs doing. We just keep our heads down and make sure the accounts are square. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but it’s steady and it keeps the lights on. We know the local shortcuts and the best times to move stock to avoid the traffic. That’s just the way things go down here at the agency on the ground floor, just honest work every day.
