We are located at 6, Nafar Koley Road, which is right in the heart of Kolkata. Being in the 700015 area means there is always a lot of traffic and people moving around outside our gates. For Simplex Enn & Foundy Work (P) Limited, this is where all the foundry work and engineering happens, so it is a pretty loud and hot environment inside. We have been at this location for a long time. The building shows its age a bit, but it is solid. We have got the casting pits and all the heavy machinery you need for this kind of business. The guys here have been doing this for decades, some of them followed their fathers into the trade. It is a bit cramped on Nafar Koley Road, especially when we are trying to load up a truck with finished goods. You have to get used to the soot and the smell of hot metal if you work here. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate talk. We just focus on getting the molds right and making sure the metal pours clean. When the monsoon hits, the street outside can get a bit messy, but we keep working through it. It is just a regular Kolkata workshop where we do what we know how to do. No more, no less.
