If you come to see us at Silverson Overseas Pvt Ltd., you’ll find us at 208 M.G. Road. We are up on the third floor in Room 305. The building is usually buzzing with activity because of the location. Being on the third floor means we get a little bit of a view of the street, but mostly we are just looking at the tops of buses and cars. The office itself is pretty simple. We have our computers and some filing cabinets that are starting to get a bit too full. We deal with overseas stuff, so there is always a lot of paperwork to sort through and emails to answer at odd hours. The elevator works most of the time, but when it doesn't, that third-floor walk is a good workout for us. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a clock that runs a few minutes fast. We like it that way because it keeps us focused on the tasks we have to finish for the day. There’s usually a lot of shouting from the street below, but we’ve learned to tune it out over the years. We take our tea in the afternoon and talk about things other than work for a few minutes. It is a straightforward kind of life here. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the schedule.
