Shristi

We are located over at Sujagung on R.K. Mission Road in Midnapore. It is basically Tapas Kumar Das and Nimai Ch. Das running things here. The office is not very big but it works for what we need to do every day. People around Midnapore usually find us easily because the Mission Road is a well-known spot. We started Shristi just to have a place where local work could get done without too much fuss. There are always papers on the desk and the phone rings more than you would expect. It is not some fancy corporate setup with glass walls. We have some chairs for visitors and a couple of computers that have seen better days but still run fine. Working in this part of West Bengal means you get to know your neighbors and the people walking by the shop front. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait it out or talk for a bit. It’s a simple way of doing things. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a local business trying to handle the tasks that come our way. If you are looking for the place, just ask for Nimai's house or the office near the mission. We have been here for a while and plan to stay for as long as it makes sense. The walls could use a new coat of paint maybe, but the work gets finished on time anyway.
