This branch of Shriram Epc Ltd. is a bit different because it’s located in Sahebpara, Sonarpur. We are actually c/o Nirmal Kr. Chandra at his place. It’s not your usual commercial office building with a glass front. It feels much more like a local home-based operation in this part of Kolkata. Sonarpur 700150 is a bit away from the main city center, so it’s a bit quieter here, though still busy in its own way. We handle various tasks related to the company’s engineering projects from this spot. It’s a very grounded way of working. You might see some files on a dining table or a dedicated corner with a couple of computers. There’s no corporate hierarchy feel here; we all just pitch in. We don’t have fancy brochures to hand out. If you want to know what we do, you just have to ask. We manage the local coordination and some of the back-end stuff that doesn't need a big city office. Sometimes the neighbors pop by, and it feels more like a community than a cold business. We drink a lot of tea and work through the lists of things to be done for the projects. It’s practical, it’s local, and it’s just the way things are set up for us in Sahebpara. We aren't looking to be the biggest office, just the one that gets its part of the job finished. It works well enough for everyone.
