Shrestha Garments

We have been here at Shrestha Garments for quite a while now. Our shop is located near Ramakrishna Aksam in Baruipur, and if you know this part of West Bengal, you know how busy it gets around here. Sometimes the address looks a bit confusing on paper with all the repetitions of Baruipur, but once you arrive, it is easy to spot us. The building is simple and we spend most of our mornings just setting things up before the sun gets too hot. People from the neighborhood stop by often, and we usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular place where we keep ourselves busy with the clothes. Most days, we are just sorting through stacks or talking to people who walk in from the main road. The area near the Aksam has its own rhythm, and we have become a small part of that over the years. We don't really do much advertising because everyone around here already knows where we are. It’s a bit dusty outside sometimes because of the traffic, but inside it’s just us doing our thing. Sometimes we lose track of time when there is a lot to do, but that is just how it goes when you run a shop in a place like this. We are just glad to have a steady spot in Baruipur after all this time.
