Shivshakti Engineering Co.

Shivshakti Engineering Co. is tucked away in the 10 Old Post Office building. If you come looking for us, you have to go to the right wing and look for Room No. 37. It is one of those older buildings where the hallways are a bit narrow and the ceilings are high. We have been in this room for a while now. The space is filled with desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of technical papers spread out. It gets a bit crowded when we have all the staff in at once. Usually, someone is on the phone talking about a project or trying to figure out a measurement. We do a lot of the planning and the engineering drawings right here. It’s quiet enough for work, though you can hear the sounds of the city coming through the windows. The right wing is a bit calmer than the front of the building. We keep our tools and some smaller components in the back corner. It’s not a showroom or anything like that. It’s just where we get the work done. Sometimes the lighting isn't great, so we have extra lamps on the tables. Most people who visit are looking for help with some mechanical part or a design they’re working on. We just sit down with them and see what we can do. It’s a straightforward business and we like being in this part of town.
