Balaji Impex

You can find us over at Balaji Impex, way up on the 9th floor of the building at 137 VIP Road. It’s Suite No. 901 in the Shibpur area. Being that high up means we get a decent view of the traffic below, which is usually a mess, especially during rush hour. We’ve been in this office for a bit, and it’s mostly filled with computers, some old filing cabinets that squeak when you open them, and a lot of half-empty water bottles. We handle a lot of import and export stuff, so there’s always someone calling about a container or a manifest. It isn’t the quietest place to work, but we get things done. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow sometimes, so we’ve learned to be patient. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just focus on the logistics of moving goods from one place to another. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed, just sitting here under the fluorescent lights. We don't have any flashy signs or a fancy reception area. It’s just a workspace where we put in our hours. We like it here in Shibpur because it feels like a real working neighborhood. There are plenty of places nearby to grab some food when we get a break.
