Shankar Engineering Corportation

Shankar Engineering Corportation has been operating out of 18, Rabindra Sarani for quite some time now. We are tucked away inside Poddar Court. You have to go through Gate No. 2 and head up to the 3rd Floor. Our specific spot is Room No. 335. It is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to the building, but you get the hang of it quickly. The hallways are usually pretty busy with other folks working nearby. We have our small space and we keep to it. It’s not a huge operation. We mostly just focus on the technical side of things and making sure our records are right. The office is full of files and old notebooks. We don't have much in the way of decoration. Just the tools and tables we need. Working in a place like Poddar Court means you see a lot of different people every day. It’s an old building with a lot of history. Sometimes the elevator takes a while, so we just take the stairs if we are in a hurry. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Rabindra Sarani. It’s loud and energetic outside. Inside our room, it’s just us doing the daily grind. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just provide what we can from this third-floor room. It’s a practical workspace for a practical group of people. That is about all there is to it. We keep our hours steady and just keep going.
