Our office is located at 49/88, P.G.M. Shah Road, which is in the Tollygunge area of Kolkata. We are situated at Mr. B.K. Hore’s place. It’s a bit of a specific address to find, but people usually manage to get here after a phone call or two. We are a firm of chartered accountants, which means our daily lives are mostly filled with audits, tax returns, and financial statements. It’s not exactly the most exciting job in the world, but it's important work and someone has to do it. We have a small, dedicated team here. We spend our days going through stacks of documents and double-checking every calculation. The office isn't very large, so things can get a little bit crowded when we have all the files out on the tables. We try to be as helpful as we can to anyone who walks through the door. We don't have a big marketing budget or any fancy brochures. We just rely on doing the job correctly and hoping people notice. Most of our clients come to us because they heard about us from someone else. Tollygunge is a good place to be, even if the traffic can be a bit much during the rush hours. We’ve got our desks set up and we just get on with the work at hand. Sometimes we find small mistakes in old records and have to spend hours fixing them. That’s just part of the reality of being an accountant. We don’t mind. It’s what we do.
