We are located at No. 232/1 Satin Sen Sarani, right on Manicktala Main Road. It is a very busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise from the buses and the rickshaws passing by our window. The office is not very big and it is usually a bit cluttered with papers and folders. We spend most of our time here looking at job listings and talking to people who come in looking for a way to earn a living. It is just a few of us working here. We have some old desks and chairs that have seen better days. Sometimes the fan makes a weird clicking sound when it is on high speed, but it keeps the air moving during the hot afternoons. We do not have any fancy signs or expensive furniture. We just focus on the work of matching people with companies that are hiring. The tea guy comes by around eleven every morning, which is usually a nice break for us. Dealing with resumes all day can be a bit tiring, but it is what we do. We have been in this spot for a while now and we know the neighborhood pretty well. Most of the people who walk in are just regular folks from around the area. We try to be helpful, even if we do not always have the answer right away. It is just a normal, everyday office with a lot of paperwork and a lot of phone calls.
