Kutchina

You can find us over at 25/2 Sahapur Colony in the New Alipore area. We are at Plot No. 252, which is quite close to the Bata showroom that everyone knows. Our place is called Kutchina. We spend our days dealing with kitchen stuff, mostly. It’s a busy part of New Alipore, so there’s always something happening outside. Inside, we have a variety of things on display, though it’s not a huge, fancy gallery. It’s more of a practical space where we show people how things work. We’ve got a small crew here who knows a lot about hobs and chimneys and all that. We don't use a lot of big words or sales talk. We just show you what we have and answer questions as best as we can. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered with boxes and parts, especially when a new shipment arrives. The walk from the main road isn't too bad, and most people find us easily enough because of the Bata shop nearby. We’ve been in Sahapur Colony for a while now and feel like part of the neighborhood. We aren't a giant corporation, just a local branch trying to help folks set up their kitchens. It’s a steady job and we enjoy meeting the different people who come through our doors. We just keep things simple and try to be useful to anyone who stops by.
