We are very close to Charaktala itself, which is where many people gather for local events. Being in Baguihati means it’s a very residential and busy neighborhood. The streets are often full of people buying vegetables or just walking home. Our shop is on Jagatpur Road, and it’s a modest little place. It’s not very big, just enough space for what we need to keep on the shelves. The building looks its age, but it’s sturdy. We see the same neighbors every day. It feels more like a village within the city. There is a lot of chatter outside from the nearby tea stalls. Sometimes the road gets a bit narrow when too many rickshaws are trying to pass each other. We don't have any big corporate signs, just the name of the place. Inside, it’s a bit cramped but we know where everything is. It gets quite warm in the summer because of the way the sun hits the street. We just keep the door open and wait for the evening breeze. Sarkar Medico is just a small part of the Jagatpur community, right near Charaktala. It's a simple life here on the road with all the local people. We have been here for years and we are comfortable.
