Sabyasachinath

You can find Sabyasachi Nath over at 265/B/7 B Chatterjee Road in the Behala area of Calcutta. We are specifically in the Natunpara neighborhood. It’s a typical busy street in this part of the city. We don't have a fancy office building. Our workspace is just a ground-floor room that we’ve used for years. It has high ceilings and old windows that let in a bit of a breeze when it’s not too dusty outside. We aren't a big firm with lots of staff. It’s mostly just Sabyasachi and maybe one assistant helping out with the daily load. The street can get quite narrow, especially when the local market is active. We don’t have any marketing people or a sales team. We just rely on the work we do to keep things going. People in the colony know where we are if they need help with anything. We use old-fashioned wooden tables that have been in the family for a long time. They are solid and much better than the new plastic ones. We take a tea break every afternoon around four, just like most people in Calcutta do. It’s a very local way of working and we don't try to change that. We are just a small part of the 700061 community. We don't make big claims, we just do our daily bit and that is enough for us. We stay here because this is where our roots are.
