S. D. Engineers

S. D. Engineers is located at 87/101, Jyotish Roy Road. It’s a typical engineering shop where things are always a bit oily and there’s a lot of metal shavings on the floor. We’ve been here for years, and the neighborhood has seen us grow from just a couple of guys to a slightly larger group. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with magazines. If you come by, you’ll probably walk right into the work area where we’re busy with lathes or drills. Jyotish Roy Road is where we feel at home. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting problems for our customers. Engineering isn’t always straightforward; sometimes things don’t fit or a design doesn’t work quite right on the first try. We just keep at it until it’s fixed. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just fix things and make parts. The noise of the machinery is the background music of our lives. Sometimes the weather makes it tough to work, like when it’s raining hard and the roof leaks a little, but we just move the machines and keep going. We value the relationships we’ve built with other local businesses over the years. It’s a small community and we all try to help each other out when we can. We’re just here on Jyotish Roy Road, doing our best to get the engineering work done, day after day, without much fuss or bother about anything else.
