You can find S & Ib Services Pvt. Ltd on the ground floor of the building at 199 M.M Ghosh Road. We are in Flat No-1, which makes it easy for people to just walk in from the street without climbing stairs. Being in this part of Kolkata means there’s always noise from the traffic outside, but we’ve gotten used to it. We handle a lot of service-related work here. It’s mostly about managing people and making sure they are where they need to be. The office is a bit cramped because we have so many records and uniforms kept in the back. We started small and just stayed in this neighborhood because the rent is fair and the location works for our staff. It’s an old building, but it has character. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. People come in to apply for jobs or to talk about contracts. We sit around the old wooden table and figure things out. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We don't use any fancy software for everything, sometimes a notebook and a pen are still the best tools we have. We know the other shop owners on M.M Ghosh Road quite well. It’s a community. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way. The old address 1/93 is still on some of our older papers but we are right here at 199 now.
