We’ve been tucked away in BTM Layout for a while now. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, mostly filled with traffic and folks looking for a place to eat after work. Our office is right here in the middle of it all. Most days, we’re just focusing on getting the work done. It isn’t always quiet, especially with the bikes revving outside, but we manage. Rsmt is just a small team of us. We show up, sit at our desks, and handle the tasks that come our way. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the coffee runs out, but that’s just how it goes in a real office. People walk in and out, asking for directions or looking for our door. We don’t have any fancy lobby or a big receptionist. It is just a workspace where things happen. We’ve seen BTM change a lot over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing down. We stayed put though. Our day starts early enough to beat the worst of the traffic, though that doesn’t always work out. There’s a lot of paperwork usually, and plenty of phone calls. We don’t spend much time worrying about how we look to the outside world. It’s more about making sure the people who need us get what they came for. It is a plain space with some old chairs and computers that have seen better days. That is just the way we like it.
