We are located out in Pailan Hat, right near the Pailan Numen’s Park. If you know the area near IIM Joka, we aren’t too far from there, though the traffic on Diamond Harbour Road can be a real headache sometimes. The office is basically a hub for our mobile and telecom work. It’s a bit of a trek for some of the staff who live in the main part of Kolkata, but it’s quieter out here compared to the city center. We spend a lot of time dealing with inventory and logistics for mobile phones. The space is filled with boxes and people checking serial numbers. It isn't a showroom where everything is shiny; it's more of a working office where things actually happen. The building is functional. We have a small pantry where we eat lunch together, usually talking about the latest phone models or just complaining about the heat. Being near the IIM campus means there are always students and people moving around the area, which gives it some life. On some days, the courier trucks are lined up outside, and it gets a bit chaotic getting everything loaded. We don’t use much jargon here. We just handle the business of cell phones and parts. It’s a steady routine of checking lists and making sure the shipments go to the right places. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a blessing in the summer months when Pailan gets really dusty.
