We operate out of 4/33, Bijoygarh in the Jadavpur area. It’s a residential-feeling part of Kolkata, and our office fits right into that neighborhood vibe. It’s not one of those tall, modern office buildings. We are on a street where neighbors know each other and there's actually a fair amount of greenery around the houses. Working here at Roytech Projects, we handle various project tasks from this base. The main room is filled with metal cabinets and some old wooden furniture that’s still quite sturdy. We’ve been here for a bit and know the local area very well. Jadavpur is a good place to be because everything is pretty accessible, though the lanes can be a bit narrow sometimes. Parking is often a puzzle we have to solve every morning. Inside, we have our desks set up and it’s usually quiet except for the sound of someone typing or talking on the phone. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the project details. It’s a private limited company, but it feels more like a small local outfit because of how we run things day to day. We don’t have a big marketing department or any fancy brochures. It’s just us doing the project work that comes our way. The walls have a few maps and some dusty schedules pinned up. It’s a functional space without any extra decorations. We focus on the work rather than how the office looks.
