Rosni Consultants is located over at D.N. Ghosh Lane in Kolkata. We are in Block-A2, which is easy enough to find if you know the neighborhood landmarks. It’s an old part of the city, and our office certainly reflects that character. We don’t have those modern glass walls or shiny floors you see in the new developments. Instead, we have high ceilings and some old wooden furniture that’s been around for decades. We spend our time consulting on various things that people bring to us. It’s a lot of listening and looking at messy documents. Being in the 700027 pin code means we deal with a lot of local traffic and the usual heavy Kolkata humidity. We keep a few fans going at all times to stay cool while we work. There are usually files stacked up on the desks because there is always something that needs doing. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We are just a group of people who know how to navigate the local systems and help others do the same. It’s practical, everyday work. We take our lunch breaks together and usually talk about the weather or the local news. Sometimes clients drop by without calling first, and that’s fine with us. We just pull up an extra chair and listen. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and like it here.
