You can find R.M.Jain & Associates over on the 5th floor of Saha Court, which is at 32, 8 GC Avenue in Kolkata. Being up on the 5th floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, though we are usually too busy looking at spreadsheets to notice. We have been in this building for quite a while now. It is a standard chartered accountancy firm. We handle the usual stuff like auditing and tax work for local businesses in West Bengal. The office is pretty simple. We have a few desks, some computers, and a lot of cabinets for all the files we have to keep. It is not a fancy place with a lobby or a receptionist in a suit. We are just a group of people who know how to handle tax filings. Sometimes it gets a little messy when we have a lot of work coming in at once, but we manage. The walk from the entrance to the elevator is something we do every morning. We do not really do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of office. We just sit down, do the work, and try to stay on top of the changing regulations. That is what a typical day looks like for us at Saha Court. We just keep moving through the pile of files on our desks.
