Being on the 5th floor means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, which is nice during the summer. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working, but we’re used to it by now. We mostly work with bags and different fashion items throughout the week. The tables are covered in scraps and patterns. We don't try to make the place look like a showroom. It’s a workshop, plain and simple. We spend our days cutting, stitching, and packing things into boxes. There’s no big corporate vibe here. We talk about normal things while we work, like what we're having for dinner or what's happening in the news. The lane outside is narrow and can be a pain for deliveries, but we manage. We’ve been in this spot long enough to know all the local shop owners. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have a list of what needs to be finished by Friday so we can go home.
