Our office is at 12 A Ballygunje Place (East) in Kolkata, and we are care of Mrs. Reba Kundu. This is a residential part of the city, so the office is actually inside a house. It gives the whole place a very lived-in and comfortable feel, which is nice when people come in to talk about their careers. The 700019 area is one of those classic Kolkata neighborhoods with narrow streets and old buildings. We have a few rooms set up with desks and chairs for interviews and counseling sessions. It’s not a high-pressure environment with glass walls. We just sit around, maybe have some tea, and look over resumes to see where people might be able to find work. There are bookshelves filled with old directories and papers that we haven't quite gotten around to digitizing yet. The street outside can be a bit tight for parking, but most people manage. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website that does all the work for us. It is mostly just word of mouth and people stopping by because they know Mrs. Kundu or someone else who has been here. We spend our days on the phone or writing emails, trying to match the right person with the right job. It’s simple work, done in a very local, unassuming way. Mrs. Kundu has lived here for years and we just work around the house routine.
