Ray & Ray, Chartered Accountants

Ray & Ray is located at 183/2 Lenin Sarani, on the 4th floor. We are in the C/O P.K. Mullick section of the building. It is one of those busy Kolkata addresses where there is always something happening downstairs. We have been doing accounting and auditing here for a long time. The office is a bit of a climb if the lift is not working right, but we are used to it. Inside, it is mostly just desks covered in papers. We handle a variety of tax work and financial reporting. It is not the kind of place where you will find modern art or sleek furniture. It is just a workspace for people who deal with numbers. We have a small staff and we all know each other well. During the busy season, it can get pretty crowded with all the files that need to be processed. We do not really have a polished way of explaining what we do. We just help people with their accounts and make sure their filings are done. The atmosphere is generally quiet, though there is usually someone on the phone explaining a tax rule to a client. It is a very practical environment. We do not have any promotional brochures lying around. We just focus on the task at hand. That is how things go here at our office on Lenin Sarani. We are just regular people doing a technical job.
