Ramlal Ramchandra has been around Cotton Street for a long time. We’re over at 132, under the name R.R. Packgers (P) Ltd. If you know this area, you know how crowded and hectic it gets with all the shops and people moving around. Our place is right in the middle of all that. We handle packing and related stuff. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. We’re usually surrounded by boxes, tape, and wrapping materials. The floors are rarely clean because there’s always something being moved or cut. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if the paperwork says private limited. We don’t really have a front desk or a receptionist. You just walk in and someone will probably look up from what they're doing to help you. We talk loudly because the street outside is so noisy. Sometimes we share tea from the stall downstairs while we work through the afternoon. It’s not a polished office with air conditioning that works all the time. It’s just a place where we get the packing done. We focus on the daily tasks. Making sure the orders are packed tight so nothing breaks. It’s simple, honest work. We’ve seen the street change over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing every day. It is just a regular local business where we try to get things right and keep our customers coming back.
