Rajesh Kumar Rateria

We've been here at 21B, Canning Street for quite a while now. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy it gets around the ground floor shops. It’s always noisy outside with people moving boxes and rickshaws going past, but we are used to it. My name is Rajesh Kumar Rateria and this is where I spend most of my days. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we handle our daily work. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather is bad, but usually, there's always something to do. We see a lot of regular faces coming through the door. It’s a bit cramped with all the paperwork and items we keep around, but it works for us. People often stop by just to ask for directions or have a quick chat while we are working. We don't really do much advertising or stuff like that. Most folks find us because they know where Canning Street is or someone told them to look for the ground floor unit here. It’s an old building, so the walls have some marks and the floor is a bit worn down, but it has character. We just keep our heads down and get the job done every day. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a short break, then it’s back to the files. It's not a glamorous life, but it's our life.
