Raj Kamal International

You can find Raj Kamal International over at 72, Cotton Street, right on the first floor. Cotton Street is a famous spot, and it’s always packed with people and goods moving around. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for quite some time. Our office isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. We do international trade, so we’re constantly checking the mail and waiting for updates from overseas. It’s not a glamorous job. Most of the time it’s just us sitting at our desks, making calls and double-checking numbers. The first-floor location is handy because we don’t have to climb too many stairs, which is a blessing on hot days. We have a lot of samples sitting around—different fabrics and materials that we deal with. It gives the place a bit of a cluttered feel, but it shows we’re actually doing something. We aren't really into big marketing pushes. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been around a while and people know we’ll do what we say we will. The street noise is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. It’s a solid place to work, surrounded by other people who are also just trying to make their way in the world. We’re just a regular business doing regular work. We keep our coffee strong and our paperwork in order.
