R. B. International

You can find us at 4A, Nc Dutta Sarani, specifically up on the second floor in Room No. 208. It is a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we would like. R. B. International is basically a small office filled with files, a couple of computers, and a lot of pens that seem to go missing. We deal with international trade, which sounds more exciting than it actually is. Most of our day is spent waiting for faxes or emails and checking on customs regulations. The room isn't very big, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, but there isn't much of a view. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so the fan is always running. We have been in this building for a while now and we know most of the neighbors on this floor. Sometimes we stop for tea in the hallway and talk about how slow the internet is being. It’s just a regular office job where we try to stay on top of the logistics and make sure our clients aren't waiting too long for news. There is nothing fancy about how we work. We just show up, deal with whatever problems come up that day, and try to get home before the evening rush starts. It’s a lot of small details to keep track of, every single day. We keep a small spare desk for visitors.
