Our place is on the 2nd floor at 58D Hindustan Park in Kolkata. It’s a nice area with a lot of character and old buildings. We do consulting work, which basically means we spend our time talking to people about their businesses and trying to figure out solutions for them. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, but you get used to the climb after the first few weeks. The office has big windows that let in some light, though we usually keep the blinds down to see our screens better. We handle a lot of different requests every day. Some days it’s all about numbers and other days it’s just giving advice. Since we are in Hindustan Park, we are surrounded by small shops and cafes, which is handy when we need a break. It’s just a few of us working here. We don't wear suits unless we absolutely have to for a formal meeting. Mostly it's just regular clothes and a lot of focus. We’ve gathered quite a few books and files over the years, and they are stacked up on almost every flat surface in the room. It’s not the most modern-looking office in the city, but it’s where we feel at home. We just take one client at a time and do what we can to help them out. It’s straightforward work without any unnecessary fluff or complicated procedures that waste time.
