Our place is located at 238/B, A.J.C. Bose Road. It’s a busy part of the city, and the building we’re in has been there for quite some time. Prestige Ice Creams Pvt. Ltd. handles a lot of the logistics from here. It isn't a little shop where you come for a single cone; it’s more of the hub for how we get things out. The phones ring quite a bit with orders from different vendors. We spend a lot of time looking at clipboards and checking the freezer trucks as they pull in and out. The traffic on A.J.C. Bose Road is almost always a mess, so we have to plan our timings carefully. Inside, it smells like cold air and sometimes a bit of vanilla if a container isn't sealed right. We have a small staff who have been here for years. We know each other's habits by now. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the temperatures stay exactly where they need to be. If the cooling goes down, everyone starts panicking. We keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s not a place with a lot of decorations or anything. Just desks, filing cabinets, and the big industrial storage areas. We make sure the shipments go out on time every day, rain or shine. It gets quite loud when the generator kicks in, but that’s part of the routine here. We just stay focused on the logistics and keep the paperwork moving forward.
