Prasad Engineering

We run Prasad Engineering from 74/A, Pashupati Bhattacherjee Road. It’s a small operation, mostly focused on the technical side of things that we enjoy. The street is usually quiet, which we like because it lets us concentrate on our designs and repairs without distractions. We’ve got a mix of old tools and some newer stuff that we’ve picked up over time as we could afford it. The workshop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we put everything to avoid tripping. Sometimes it feels like a bit of a maze in here when we have a lot of projects going at once. We aren't corporate people at all. We wear work clothes and don't mind getting our hands dirty when a machine needs fixing or a part needs adjusting. It’s been our home for a good number of years. The neighbors are mostly residential, so we try not to make too much noise too early in the morning out of respect. We don't have a website or fancy ads. Usually, people just drop by or give us a call when they have a problem they can't solve. It’s a straightforward life for us. We open up the shop, look at the jobs for the day, and get to work. It might not be the most exciting thing to talk about, but it’s what we know best. We just focus on doing a decent job for anyone who walks through the door.
