Prapti Fashions Pvt. Ltd. is up on the 4th floor of SDF: IV D in the Paridhan Garment Park. The address is 19 Canal South Road. It’s a big building, so there’s always a lot of activity around the elevators and the loading areas downstairs. We've been on this floor for some time. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, even with the big fans going. We have a lot of space, which is good because things like fabric and thread tend to pile up. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not exactly pretty, but it’s where the real work happens. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby to greet people. You just walk in and see everyone working at their stations. There’s a lot of noise from the other units in the park too. We focus on getting the daily tasks finished without much fuss. Sometimes we stay late when there's a big shipment that needs to go out. The view from the 4th floor is just other buildings and the road, but we don't look out the window much. We are too busy with the needles and the fabric. It’s a straightforward operation. We don't use big words or fancy talk to describe what we do. We just make clothes and try to do it right every time. It’s a job like any other, and we’re glad to have the space here at 19 Canal South Road. It suits us just fine for what we do every day.
