Prapti Fashion Pvt. Ltd. is located over at 19 Canal South Road. We are up on the 4th floor of the SDF: IV D building. It’s quite a climb if the elevator is acting up, which happens now and then. Being on the 4th floor gives us a bit of a view of Canal South Road, which is always full of trucks and people moving things. This isn't a retail shop where you just walk in off the street to buy a shirt. It’s more of an office and a production space. We have desks, computers, and a lot of files. The atmosphere is a bit more serious than a local shop, but we still keep it pretty casual among ourselves. We deal with a lot of the business side of fashion here. There’s always someone on the phone or typing away. The building itself is an industrial type of place, so it’s all concrete and sturdy walls. We’ve been at 19 Canal South Road for a while, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the area. It’s busy and loud, and there is always something being delivered or picked up downstairs. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls or a plush lobby. It’s a practical workspace for people who have a lot to get done. We start early and usually the lights are on until late in the evening. It’s just where we do our business every single day of the week.
