Our office is over at the Paridhan Garment Park on Canal South Road. We are in the SDF IV D building on the fourth floor. It’s a big industrial complex, so there is always someone moving boxes in the hallways or waiting for the elevators. Being on the fourth floor means we have a bit of a view of the surrounding area, though it's mostly just other factory buildings. The space is quite large and open. We have long tables where we sort through the garments. It gets very bright in the afternoons because of the big windows. The commute here can be a bit long depending on the traffic near the canal. We have a small pantry where we keep the kettle and some biscuits. The floor is concrete and easy to clean. We have a few staff members who have been with us since we moved into this unit. It feels very different from a regular shop because it’s so industrial. We spend most of our time looking at spreadsheets and checking the quality of the stitching. The noise of the nearby machines is constant, but you get used to it after a few days. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and some old notices. It’s a place for work, nothing more and nothing less. Usually, we pack up around five when the main gates of the park get crowded.
