Prakash Apparels is on the first floor at 22 Ram Prasad Saha Lane. The easiest way to get here is to find the petrol pump on Tara Chand Dutta Street and go behind it. We are right there in the Old City Centre area. Being in the old part of the city means the lanes are narrow and things are pretty crowded. It has that specific old city feel that you don't get in the newer developments. Our workshop is up one flight of stairs. It’s an old building, so the steps are a bit worn down. We share the floor with a couple of other small businesses. The sound of the street reaches us even up here, especially the horns from the petrol pump area. Inside, we have rows of machines and piles of fabric everywhere. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. Ram Prasad Saha Lane can be a bit tricky to navigate if you're driving, so most people just walk in from the main road. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. It’s a hardworking environment. We start early and usually finish up late. If you’re looking for us, just head behind the Tara Chand Dutta Street Petrol Pump. It’s right in the Old City Centre area, which is pretty easy to find once you get near the pump.
