Down at 31 Ganesh Chandra Avenue, you will find us on the second floor in Suite-2C. It is a busy part of Kolkata, right in the heart of things. We are just a standard firm of chartered accountants doing the usual tax and audit work. The building is one of those older ones you see around here, but it works for us. Getting up to the second floor is a daily routine that we do not even think about anymore. Inside, there is usually a lot of talk about tax laws and filing dates. It can get pretty noisy with the traffic outside on the avenue. We have been working from this suite for some time now. It is not a huge office, but there is enough room for the desks and the archives. We handle a lot of different clients, mostly local businesses that need help keeping their books straight. Sometimes we stay late when it is tax season and the tea gets cold on the desk. There is not any fancy lobby or coffee machine here. Just real people doing real work with numbers. We focus on getting the filings done and making sure nothing is missing. If you walk past the shops on the ground floor, you will find the entrance easily enough. It is just a place where we work every day to help people stay on top of their financial stuff. That is basically the situation at our office.
