Our office is tucked away at 165/F on Prince Anwar Shah Road. If you know Kolkata, you know this road can be a bit of a nightmare during rush hour, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. Being in the engineering field means we have a lot of drawings and technical manuals lying around. It’s not the cleanest looking place, but that’s because we are actually working. We are in the Kolkata-33 area. Most of the staff here have been around for years, so we all know each other’s habits pretty well. We don’t really do much in the way of big advertisements or anything like that. People usually find out about Posten Engineering through word of mouth or because they’ve seen us around the neighborhood. The heat in the summer can be tough, especially when the fans are just moving warm air around, but we get through it. We deal with various engineering projects and the paperwork that goes with them. It’s mostly just sitting at desks, looking at specs, and talking to vendors on the phone. Sometimes we go out to sites, but a lot of the heavy lifting happens right here on Prince Anwar Shah Road. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm in the city, just a reliable one that gets the math right. It’s a plain office, and we like it that way because it keeps us focused on the tasks at hand.
