Plaza Telecom

Plaza Telecom is tucked away inside the Green Plaza Shopping Complex over in Khidirpur. If you come in through the main entrance, you’ll find us on the ground floor at shop number 21 and 22. It’s a decent sized space for what we do. Being on Karl Marx Sarani means there is always something happening outside, but inside the complex, it’s a bit more organized. We spend most of our time dealing with mobile phones and all the little bits that go with them. Cables, batteries, and covers are piled up on the shelves because that’s what everyone is looking for these days. The lighting in the shop is bright, and we keep the glass cases clean so people can see what’s inside without much trouble. We aren't a big corporate chain, just a local business trying to keep things running smoothly for our customers. Some days are busier than others, especially on weekends when the whole complex fills up with shoppers. We handle a lot of repair work too, which usually involves a lot of sitting at the back bench with small tools and magnifying glasses. It can be tedious but it's part of the job. Khidirpur has a specific vibe, and we’ve fit into it pretty well over the years. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the inventory and how to talk to the people who walk in. It’s steady work and we try to keep it that way.
