Sutapa Enterprise

Sutapa Enterprise is tucked away at 42 Suri Lane in the Entally area. If you know Entally, you know it’s a place with a lot of character and very narrow streets. Our address at number 42 is right in the heart of that. It’s a small enterprise, and we don’t have a big fancy sign or a glass front. It’s more of a traditional workspace where we handle our business affairs. The lane can get quite crowded with rickshaws and people walking, especially in the mornings. We’ve been here for a while, so the local residents all know who we are. Inside, the space is filled with files and the usual office furniture. It’s a bit dim sometimes because the buildings are so close together on Suri Lane, but we have our lights and our fans to keep us going. We spend most of the day coordinating our work and talking to people who come by for business. It’s a very grounded way to work. There’s no corporate polish here, just honest work in a busy part of Kolkata. We hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day—the vendors calling out, children playing, and the general hum of Entally. When we need a break, we just step out into the lane for some tea. It’s a simple existence, but it keeps us busy and we like being right here in the middle of everything.
