Our office is at 14 C.R. Avenue, and if you know this part of the city, you know it’s always busy. Dixit Impex Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this building for a long time. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the shipping documents to worry about that. It’s a lot of sitting at old desks and typing things into the system. We get a lot of mail and packages every day, so the entrance is often blocked by stacks of paper or boxes waiting to be sorted. The street noise from C.R. Avenue comes right through the glass, so you get used to the honking and the shouting from the sidewalk. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a group of people making sure the import and export stuff moves along like it should. Sometimes the internet goes out and we all just sit around waiting for it to come back so we can finish the logs. It’s not a high-tech setup with fancy chairs or anything. We mostly just drink our tea and try to get through the pile of folders on the desk before the sun goes down. Working here at number 14 means you're part of the chaos of the main road. It’s a practical place for a practical job, and we don't mind the old-fashioned feel of it one bit.
