Plates Of Fame

You can find Plates Of Fame over at DD 31 A in Salt Lake City. We are located near the City Centre mall and right across from where the ABN Amro office used to be. Salt Lake is a bit quieter than the rest of Kolkata, but our corner stays fairly active. We’ve been running this place for a while and it’s just a normal part of the neighborhood now. The weather is often humid, but we keep the fans going. The space is basic and we don't go in for any of that fancy decor. We just want to make sure the food is ready and the tables are wiped down. It’s a small team here, mostly just local folks working. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. The 700064 area is pretty easy to navigate once you get your bearings. Being near the mall helps people find us, even if they aren't looking. We aren't trying to be famous despite the name, we just do what we do. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, especially when it’s busy, but we get through the day. Just a plain, simple food spot in Salt Lake.
