Our office is at 8 Bidhanpark in Kolkata, postcode 90. It’s a typical Kolkata building, maybe a bit cramped inside with all the desks and chairs we’ve squeezed in. We do consulting work, which basically means people come to us when they need advice on their business or their staff. There’s always a lot of chatter going on, people debating things or working on presentations. The ceiling fans have that familiar hum, and there’s usually a stack of old newspapers in the corner. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a fountain or anything like that. You just walk in and you're pretty much in the middle of it all. We’ve got some files that have been here for years, and we try to keep things as organized as we can. It’s a bit messy sometimes, especially when we’re in the middle of a big project. Lunch usually involves someone going out to get rolls or fish curry for the whole group. We work long hours, especially when there are deadlines, but we’re used to it. It’s just a group of us trying to make things work for our clients. We aren't big on corporate talk; we just say things as they are and try to be practical. Kolkata 90 is a busy area, but we've made this little corner our own. We just keep pushing forward with the daily tasks and forget the outside noise as much as possible.
