You can find Phoenix Overseas Ltd. at the same building, 13- B Bidhan Sarani, inside Chanda Plaza on the 4th floor. Even though we share the address with others, we have our own way of doing things. Our focus is on the overseas side of the business, which means we spend a lot of time thinking about ports and ships. The office is usually a bit of a mess with maps and schedules, but we know where everything is. Chanda Plaza is a busy place, and being on the 4th floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is always packed. We don't have a fancy corporate culture. We just have a group of people who show up and get the job done. Sometimes we stay late when we’re dealing with different time zones, and the office gets quiet except for the hum of the computers. We drink a lot of coffee and try to keep each other motivated through the long days. Exporting stuff overseas involves a lot of red tape and checking boxes, and we’re the ones who handle all of that. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the containers are loaded and the paperwork is signed. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it at Bidhan Sarani for a good while. It’s just us, the desks, and the shipments we manage every day. We keep it simple and keep it moving.
